Yesterday, a representative from the Embassy of Japan in Egypt paid a visit to the new dental clinic managed by Watan and funded by IOM.

IOM’s support with the dental clinic and the laboratory helped in decreasing medical referrals to other facilities where beneficiaries would be charged higher fees. This facilitated better services for the Syrian refugee population in 6th October, there is an expected increase in demand.

Watan is also engaging large numbers of both Syrian refugees and Egyptian host community members - as either employees or volunteers.
